I am a London based artist with a primary focus on figurative art.

My full time artistic journey started 4 years ago mostly as a reflective practice and response to the events I lived through 2020s. Art became a transformative experience, not only providing valuable insights into inner self, but also shifting perspectives, changing perceptions, and acting as a catalyst for personal growth.

My primary mediums of choice  are pastels, charcoal, and oils. Oil painting, with its less straightforward, messy, and time-consuming process was a real battle ground for me before I discovered its unique potential. The character and unpredictability of oils leave a lot of room for experimentation and accidental discoveries.

I graduated from Heatherley's School of Fine Art with a Diploma in Portraiture in 2025. The portrait is at the core of my artistic practice. It allows for introspection into psychological depth through subtle expression, gaze, pose, gesture.

This interest leads me to find my way in narrative art. It breaks free from constraints of a single subject and opens up infinite creative possibilities. Storytelling is a kind of creative Lab to develop ideas, to explore evolving social patterns. Paola Rego is a great inspiration for me. She is master of using theatrical figurative setups, dark folklore, and intense psychology to tell complex stories, often highlighting subverted power dynamics and the realities of human nature. I find pure subversion – using animal characters in human settings – as an incredible tool to address heavy human themes without being trapped by facial expressions.

My recent work explores the interaction between a structured human environment and a symbolic animalistic presence. Painting becomes a journey into the unknown, transforming the space and revealing the story I intend to convey. 

My work is continually transformed by this approach. Painting a landscape from life sketches misbehaves in the studio: composition, cropping, value patterns, and details are altered to find one particular emotional weight. It is as if fields, forests, and coastlines have become silent characters with hidden stories to tell. 

I intend to explore further how composition, forms, and colours work together to create narrative within a figurative context, yet leaving room for unrestrained viewers' interpretation.
